The moon was out at lunchtime today- and it looked a lot bigger than appears in this photograph. I noticed the blue cast of the surroundings was perfectly countered by the orange in my snow goggle lenses and everything appeared normal. That was interesting, I had to check it out and move the goggles off and on a couple of times.
George is going to Fairbanks tomorrow, and Jan is leaving for Nome tomorrow. Tomorrow's Thursday. Already? I thought today was Tuesday.

Terrific photo! Was that taken at noon? Shortest day of the year? We are fine here, going to dinner at Annie and Will's.
