The last two nights I have noticed the A.M. radio reception is poor. There is a lot static hissing, clicking and popping. Anyways, since I'm curious I'm trying to find out why. It's probably to do with the change in weather, I'm researching space weather.

The weather had been very warm- above freezing since Friday, but now it has snapped back to very cold temperatures. Our stove line must have froze up- when it was warm the frost must have melted off the sides of our tank, then sunk and froze in the line. My hands got very cold when I torched the copper pipe, I didn't expect it to be that cold out. Our heater started up again.

did you look into electromagnetic disruptancies in the earths outer core?. there is a slight chance that this could be the case if you have access to a old school compass try and see if it regter's true north or has problems with reading direction. Just a thought, there are supposed to be more hot spots coming round in the near future where compass navigation will not be working as well.
