The photos I took above are cool, if you want me to try to send you a higher resolution by e-mail I could. My brothers are cool, and my dad is too, and my mom, and cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents. I am just trying to put some stuff I thought was interesting into the blog. Below are some pictures of... Let me try to recall- a couple of artifacts in my hand, mom's picture drawn on leather cut to look like seal skin, a self portrait, a portrait of kids at school, and a handwritten reflection on the condition of my limited senses. Oh- a rattlesnake tail may not be an artifact- but I think it is, I wouldn't mind looking up the nuances of what qualifies an artifact as such. The ivory piece is part of a toggling harpoon head I found down the beach from here a couple of miles. I was so glad to find it, because it's handmade and part of my ancestor's varied ivory accoutrements.
I was trying to put some life into the blog, I've been sort of 'bogged down', but life is good. I appreciate all the support family has shown for us, and I have some guilt for not sending out thank you letters. I ought to get them sent out. I made a cool one for grandma, and a letter for Mike and Linna that's in my desk at school, and I want to send something special to Jeff and Kelly, Mikey, JJ and Vivi, and Grandma Pat, Mike and Linna, Peg and Robin, Patty and Jay, Jane and Keith. You know, token gifts, the sort that are a fun to think up and package and get out in the mail. Family just keeps getting bigger, and bigger. That would be cool to have a special talent for zinging stuff out, I think I could work on developing that talent once I get just a little extra money to set aside for postage.
Hmm I love the idea behind this website, very unique.
