I'm enjoying watching the Olympics. Life is good.
Yesterday George and I fixed our day tank, it had run out, and I discovered the snow below the fittings had diesel in it. I don't know how much dripped out, but the diesel should have lasted a bit longer. It took us several hours to find the right parts and put it together, at least it won't drip now.
I've had this interesting feeling that I don't quite know how to express. Watching the Olympians live out their dreams- particularly figure skating, and being impressed by their performances- is at odds with the effect of watching Google Earth zoom out-which has strengthened my visual impression of how small each of us, individually, & physically, are. The Olympians are our national representatives in a competition that exemplifies the human condition- the physics of energy and motion.
