I am just getting ready for bed, listening to Coast to Coast while Heather watches Dumbo. Earlier she was watching Seabert, and then Charlotte's Web. She's really learning fast at school! She already learned the months of the year, and is eager to learn. She likes to read the books Jeff and Kelly brought for her, she's good at recalling the story and making up the story according to the pictures. She's three and will be four in February.
Night before last, Jan and I both had bad dreams, she can't remember hers, and mine didn't make too much sense. I dreampt that there was a fire, and I was going to save my stuff by throwing it outside. I looked out a window, and there was smoke, and huge oil pipelines leaking clear oil out into a partially frozen river. Then I went into my room and it was like a time warp, there were cobwebs everywhere, and even the bugs were dying of old age. Strange how dreams are. I read somewhere that dreaming helps put the memories of the day into long term recall.
It's 10 degrees F, and it's really cold sitting down on the honeybucket! brrrrrrrr.
Janice had her licorice tea, and is comfortably lying down on our brand new bed.
Shannon has been good lately, she likes the owl Grandma Pat sent, and still likes watching cartoons during the day. Kelly's doing really good, growing fast, baby talking and smiling lots. She even drinks almost two of her bottles now when she's hungry (the 4 oz kind.)
