It's been unusually warm after weeks of near zero temperature. The rise came with a snowfall last night, and the temperature rose to about 30. The snow was like bean bag stuffing- light and spherical.
My snowmachine started right up, after a summer of sitting idle. But the headlights wouldn't come on, I tried to find out why, but all the wires seemed in place and connected. Maybe the bulbs themselves went out.
The most startling thing I saw was what seemed to be flashes of flames through the hood vents. I looked inside, and it was the exhaust pipe- which is held down by a spring- and on each bounce, the spring was arcing a orange arc. I figured the motor is grounded into the frame, and there were flakes of rust that let out the orange sparks- usually electrical arcs are blue. So maybe the lights burned out from an improperly grounded frame.
I'm impressed with your site, very nice graphics!
