We had a warm south wind last night. It has been very slippery. I think this is a sign spring is on it's way.
If I had internet I would probably play World of Warcraft in the evening hours. We need our own place.

I'm watching the movie Robot & Frank. It's good.

King Crab

George let us know there was somebody selling crabs they caught by crabpot icefishing outside of Nome, so we got one.

Janice, Kelly, Jason and I all saw "Ice Age 3 Continental Drift" in 3D at the theater in Nome recently. We had fun and Jason even jumped a few times when things looked like they flew off the screen. The kids had dental appointments so we stayed overnight and made it back the next day, luckily, just in time to miss the big weather front that came in right after us.

The village landed a whale recently. It was a really big deal, and everybody was at the beach watching the hunters cut it. Many families have lots to eat now.

A nice day

     We went swimming today, the weather was perfect and we had fun. Kelly and Shannon are practicing learning to swim, and they had their new goggles on. There were a couple of fish in the creek with them, but they weren't scared since they weren't the big big ones like they catch at the beach.
     Jason watched from the shore, and Jared got his feet wet. There were more kids swimming too, and they all took turns using the goggles. They were using the foam insulation leftover from housing projects for kickboards, and all in all they had a really good time. :D

Jared was playing football with Allen by the lagoon.

 Jared likes to make a splash. He's right next to George and Alberta's house near the lagoon.
