We've caught a mouse that has been chewing on our door trying to get in, now there's another. Jan is glad we got the traps, thanks dad! Mousetraps are cool!
I've been having lots of dreams lately, and I'm glad because for a while I was missing my dreams. Either I couldn't remember, or I just wasn't having them, this was last year, so each time I remember one I'm glad. Of course I can't remember one now that I want to write. Let me think....
I had one last night where someone I knew was in a new house by a road, it was dark, and the person had just woken up and was trying to find the bathroom. Only it was a new house, and went the wrong way right out the door to outside, and around the house feeling confused being half asleep and scared and not knowing where they were and made it back in the other side. I was like, it's alright, you're ok, I know you, you were sleepwalking. And then the person was imagining they were somebody else. I don't know, but I thought I'd put something on the web.
I had another the other night where I went downstairs in a large building and ended up in a natural cave that led out into a jungle. There was even water, and two kids showed up, it was their hideout I think.
Reminds me of the time I got lost with some classmates in the caves at Lavabeds National monument. I think it was me, Billy, and Jack, and another, and we went through this part where we had to crawl on our bellies to get through to the other side and the cave kept going. We walked around and saw someone had scratched a date on the wall from the 1800s and it was totally cool. We thought it was a soldier from when Captain Jack made his stronghold there and ambushed the soldiers who were trying to wipe them out. I think it was in golden dome cave, but I'm not sure about that. There was golden dome, and chocolate cave, and others. Anyways, we realized we had to get back, and we didn't know which way to go, we were trying to find the spot we crawled through, didn't know where that was. But then we saw something. We saw light. It was a natural hole with rocks spilled in from near the ceiling. We climbed up, and it was a tight squeeze, but we ended up in the middle of nowhere, no hiking trails, roads, or signs of civilization. Then we heard honking, and went towards it. We followed the sound to our schoolbus, which was driving around honking for us so we could find our way if we were lost. That was a cool trip. One of my favorite places. And I'm glad I went back with my dad and brothers a couple times after that.
