-I was really glad to hear from you Sandra, and Dad, thanks!
-It's negative 14 out, and we left our faucet on last night so our pipes wouldn't freeze. They are insulated, just not enough for the super degree of coldness we've been having.
-I've been working on a crossword puzzle and it really got me stumped, I called Mikey for help to look up some of the clues on the internet. I must be out of sync with my crossword mojo, I was stumped with only a fourth of the puzzle done. It was a Friday New York Times puzzle.
-All quiet on the Northern Front and ALL'S WELL except....
-I might have gotten food poisoning from some king crab night before last. Or a combination. We had King Crab and shrimp at Jan's parents house, and it tasted fine. But when I got home and went to bed, I woke up with a terrible feeling like strep throat, I had stomach cramps, the runs, and had to throw up too. I took Sudafed, the ones you sent me J&K, because the puffy throat was getting bad . People in Teller had the same symptoms last week and now a few here in town have the stomach flu, but I, I think it was mostly the crab.
- *Did you know*? a girl from Diomede told me there was a certain way the elders hung the crab shell (carapace?) from the ceiling and it would twist and show them which way the wind was blowing, OR if they hung the shell from a different point it would show them the direction of the currents.(?)
