Mom and Jan colored their hair today, they had lots of fun, nothing extreme, just tinting. We had bacon and pancakes for breakfast, pizza for lunch, and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. Janice and I went to the store while George and Alberta watched the girls. The snow was bright the sky was clear, and the air was fresh. Really nice out.

Yesterday, and some of these other days I've been having a background-persistent awareness of life and the state of existence. I feel good about life, I haven't felt depression this year, just a will to persist in trying to make things work for our family. I tried to write it out yesterday and the day before, but it sounded so empty, while it was so full. This developing perspective crosses my mind that my parents have gone through parenthood, and that there are parents all over our planet. And about life, and how special it is, and death as a stage of life, and why are we all here. That sort of stuff. I think what is difficult about expressing this new perspective is I'm aware of how much I'm not alone in this. I'm having my own life experiences, which are unique and so so special for me, but they are for so many others also.

blah, blah. It's hard to not muddle up words. Or maybe what I'm trying to say isn't really one thing at all. It's all those little things, thoughts, coming together, forming life itself. And just being in mindset trying to have some sort of transcendental thoughts really gets some feelings of wonder and awe and gladness for being alive. I think my words are making a gesture that are pointing in the right direction for clarity in your own mind if you're having reflective thoughts.

Enough. I think if I read this over I would probably have too many second thoughts about it and erase, while if I leave and come back later and read it I will probably think I made a good effort.
