We're reading The Lion the WItch and the Wardrobe in class now, the students really like it. Well, the three that have shown up all week.
Jan made it to Nome, and got herself a new jacket, hat and gloves, some new pants for me, and some stuff for the girls. She'll be home tomorrow, if the weather is good.
Kelly got her Synegis (sp?) shot. I'll look up what that is. She cried for just a little bit. Pretty tough. Now she's taking a nap in her swing and looks pretty cozy. Polly is playing with Shan and Heather, and Blade 2 is on TV.
The wrestling team was wrestling and we got to watch it on a videocast system at school. The kids sure cheered for Carl, he's the pastor's son, he's pretty tough. He pinned a guy that looked twice his size. His mom, Ginger, said it's from all the work he's done with his families' dog team.
We need to fix our diesel stove, but it's warm enough right now with our electric heaters. It has warmed up a little, Even though there seems to be a north wind, it must be doing a loop and bringing us some southern warmth- it's about 14 degrees out.
